New approaches to protecting industry interests

Over the past decade, the mechanisms for defending business interests in Ukraine have undergone significant transformations. Whereas earlier industry associations were limited to appeals and petitions, today clear, structured and reasoned positions have become a priority. One-off actions have given way to consistent and professional work at the legislative and executive levels.

At the same time, the need not only to respond to challenges but also to prevent risks through analytical and proactive activities has increased.

Given these changes, UCAB is implementing a comprehensive approach to advocacy based on proven practices. Our sequence of actions includes:

Monitoring of legislative initiatives and the political context.

Forming a position based on the interests of the association members.

Communication with the authorities and key stakeholders.

Support of advocacy campaigns until the result is achieved.

Committees

The UCAB Committee is a professional platform that brings together experts of the association and representatives of member companies, responsible for coordinating activities in a particular area of agricultural production or resource supply. The committee’s tasks include monitoring legislation, analytical assessment of changes, informing market participants and advocating for solutions in the interests of the industry.
