Agro import increased, export changed slightly
Due to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine information, agricultural products and goods’ import has increased in Jan-Apr 2016 comparing to the same period of 2015 by 12% and reached almost 1.5 B USD (+161 M USD).

1Q16 oat’s export – 1.5x increased
Based on information published by State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Ukraine has exported 9.8k tons of oat what is nearly 50% plus comparing to the same period in 2015 (6.6k tons). Export has grown by 66% in cash and reached 1.5M USD.

Frozen poultry meat production 60% growth
During 1Q16 industrial frozen poultry meat production has increased by 60% comparing to 1Q15 and has reached 66.1k t. Chilled meat has declined by 1% to 174.6k t. Production volume growth is caused by seasonal decrease of demand and storage quantities increase within processing entities.
