Ukrainian grain export up by 4.5%, as of November 19, 2009
As of November 19, 2009 the Ukraine has exported 10.4 mln tons of grain (+ 4.5%) from the beginning of marketing year (July, 2009 – June, 2010) as compared to the corresponding date of the previous year.

Government started refunding VAT to ag producers
The Agrarian Fund sold 2.1 MMT of grain on account of VAT refunds to exporters. “Traders bought 2.1 MMT of grain (from AF) on account of repayment of VAT,” First Deputy Ag Minister Yuriy Luzan told a briefing.

Ukraine to export over 20 mln tonnes of grains
From the beginning of the current MY, Ukraine supplied over 9.5 mln tonnes of wheat, which exceeded the average indices of the same period of 2008/09 MY, declared Vladimir Klimenko, the president of Ukrainian grain association, on November 12.

Transit traffic volumes
In January-September volumes of transit traffic via Ukraine's territory reduced by 2.2% tо 243.8 million tons against the same period of 2008, the State Statistics Committee informs.

Ukraine increased agricultural products output by 0.1%
During ten months of 2009, the general output of agricultural products in all varieties of agrarian economies of Ukraine increased by 0.1%, including agricultural enterprises decreased the output by 0.3%, economies of Ukrainian population increased by 0.3%, declared the State Committee of Statistics on November 16.
