Within Jan-Oct agrarians boosted vegetables sales up 58%, to 692,500 MT
Within Jan-Oct 2009 agricultural companies have raised vegetables sales to 692,500 MT, up 254,107 MT (+ 58%) against Jan-Oct 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.
As for Jan-Oct 2009 vegetables sales structure, companies have sold 39.5% total vegetables to processors; 0.4% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries and 0.2% − to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.
11.6% vegetables were sold on markets (48.3% - through other trade channels).
As to report, within Jan-Oct 2008 agrarians sold 438,393 MT vegetables.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies had lifted vegetables sales to 568,675 MT, up 232,960 MT (+ 69.4%) against Jan-Sept 2008.
