Within Jan-Jul agrarians boosted vegetables sales up 45.5%, to 223,325 MT
Within Jan-Jul 2009 agricultural companies have raised vegetables sales to 223,325 MT, up 69,811 MT (+ 45.5%) against Jan-Jul 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.
As for Jan-Jul 2009 vegetables sales structure, companies have sold 5.6% total vegetables to processors; 0.5% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries and 0.2% − to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.
20.8% vegetables were sold on markets (72.9% - through other trade channels).
As to report, within Jan-Jul 2008 agrarians sold 153,514 MT vegetables.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Jan-Jun 2009 agricultural companies had lifted vegetables sales to 186,573 MT, up 65,518 MT (+ 54.1%) against Jan-Jun 2008.
