List of equipment subject to compensation by budget proceeds has been determined
The first session of commission on formation of the list of domestic machinery and equipment for agriculture complex the cost of which is partially compensated by the state budget took place.
List of machinery and equipment which cost will be partially reimbursed using budget funds was drawn up at the session. The list includes equipment of manufacturers who are the residents of Ukraine for not less than 2 years, have all necessary design and technological documentation, manufacture products within the territory of Ukraine as well as provide warranty and post-warranty service for products. Partial compensation constitutes 20% of the cost of equipment and machinery excluding VAT.
Mechanism of equipment enrollment to the list pursuant to which compensation can be provided was explained by Taras Vysotskyi, General Director of the Association ‘Ukrainian Agribusiness Club’: ‘The manufacturer of equipment, that is a locally manufactured product, shall file an application to the commission reviewing its compliance with the requirements. Then a list of machinery included in the register shall be published on website of the Ministry of Economic Development. So agricultural producers can find a list of equipment for which the state will compensate 20% of the cost. This program is aimed at making new equipment fitted with sophisticated technologies accessible to agricultural producers. The positive thing is that it is fixed for 5 years since such projects undoubtedly should be long-term’, commented Taras Vysotskyi who is a member of the relevant commission.
According to General Director of UCAB, the list is not final and may be supplemented if additional applications are submitted and positive decisions of the commission are made. The list of equipment is available by reference.
It bears reminding that on March 15, 2017 ‘Procedure for using funds provided by the state budget for partial compensation of the value of agricultural machinery and equipment of domestic production’ (hereinafter - the Procedure) approved by the Resolution No.130 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 1, 2017 came into force.
