Ukrros to sell two sugar refineries in Kharkov region
The sugar union Ukrros has taken a decision to sell the Kupyansk Sugar Refinery and Savintsy Sugar Refinery in the Kharkov region. The enterprises have an aggregate capacity of 8,000 tons of sugar beet per diem. The plants did not work this season due to lack of raw material. The market value of the Kupyansk Sugar Refinery is estimated at UAH 30mn (EUR 2.55mn USD 3.76mn), the Savintsy plant is reckoned at UAH 20mn. In all, Ukrros owns seven sugar refineries.
