For January-April, 2017 the Ukrainian producers of fruit and berries have increased the volume of product sales abroad. So, the country exported 6,2 thous. tons of apples which added to the same period in 2016 10,5% (in volume) more, while the cost of the exported production in January-April, 2017 has grown by 19,3%. Ukraine exported 11,3 thous. tons of fruits and nuts that is 83% more, than for January-April, 2016, and the total cost has grown by 76% to 14,6 USD million.
Such results have become possible thanks to development of management of a narrow circle of the companies, improvement of work in marketing and orientation to the medium term that usually improves quality of organizational work between producers and importers of the Ukrainian production.
Apples are still the most delicious fruits from Ukraine - 97% of fresh fruits supplies. As for berries, everything is much more interesting here. Thus, 8.5 thous. tons amounted supplies of prepared blueberries, cherries, wild cherries, etc. (up 70%) for USD 10.8 million (up 63%). Manufacturers of raspberries and blackberries supplied products abroad in the amount of 2.5 thous. tons (up 154%) for USD 3.3 million (up 123%).
