Ukrainian scientists breed new varieties of crops with capacity of 115-124 centner/ha
Domestic scientists and plant breeders from the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), during the Field Day 2012 exhibition presented several new varieties of crops that have high productivity - 115-124 centners/ha, UKRINFORM correspondents reported.
"Among the presented varieties - 'Smuhlianka', 'Zolotokolos' and 'Favorytka'. A record productivity of these crops at 115-124 centner/ha, by the way - in production, rather than on the fields of NASU institutions, has been officially recorded by the State Commission of Ukraine for Crop Variety Testing," the scientists say.
