Ukrainian President predicts Ukraine's economy growth by 3-6%
Such a forecast was aired by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych at lunch with representatives of American business in Washington.According to him, in the next 10 years Ukraine needs USD 70 billion to modernize its economy.
The President also noted that Ukraine is ready to create favorable conditions for investors. "We will establish an agency to attract investment, and municipal agencies, which will develop their regional programs," he said. The head of state separately noted the interest of the Ukrainian side in the implementation of infrastructure investment projects. The matter particularly concerns the development of the transport sector and reform in the energy industry.
