Ukrainian parliament to ratify agreement with EU in near future
The Verkhovna Rada will ratify the Association Agreement with the European Union in the near future, NRCU reports quoting the Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov as speaking while sharing an interview with Baltic news agency BNS.
«The Ukrainian people have made their choice — European and Euro-Atlanticintegration, and no aggression from Russia will stop us,» he said. As to report, Turchynov admitted he believed Ukraine can conduct European integration reforms over a period of five years. Turchynov also said most Ukrainians now understand that Ukraine needs to enter NATO because «it is a way to protect Ukraine from Russia’s aggressive policy».
