Ukrainian Government to reject a bill and decree regarding grains export moratorium
The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on agrarian policy issues rejected a bill “On altering the Law of Ukraine “On grains and grain market in Ukraine” (regarding the complete satisfying of the State grain demands)” and the decree “On imposition of the moratorium for grain exports from Ukraine”.
According to the press-service of the Ukrainian Agrarian Business, on September 7 Sergey Stoyanov, the General Director of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, offered to reject the above stated documents due to the contravention to the Constitution of Ukraine and the Laws of Ukraine “On entrepreneurship”, “On proprietary”, “On grains and grain market of Ukraine”.
Besides, the General Director of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation added that the bill and the decree contravene to the interests of producers and other participants of the grain market.
As it was previously announced, the People's Deputies of Ukraine – Peter Simonenko, the leader of the faction the Communist Party of Ukraine, and Alexander Tkachenko, the faction colleague, and the head of the Committee of economic policy issues, introduced the law project #7061 dd. August 30, 2010, for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On altering the Law of Ukraine “On grains and grain market in Ukraine” regarding the complete satisfying of the State grain demands)”.
