Ukrainian farmers will receive fertilizers at stable prices and in sufficient volume
This was announced at the latest meeting of the Government of Ukraine by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. According to the official, the cost of fertilizers in 2013 remains at the level of the previous two years.
Mr. Azarov also stressed the fact that the experts of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine have already agreed on the schedule of uninterrupted supply of fertilizers to all regions of the country.
"It is necessary now that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy together with regional administrations introduces weekly monitoring of the implementation of this schedule, and a mechanism of flexible response to specific conditions in the regions is created. It is necessary that material and technical supplies arrive at that very time, to that very place and in those very volumes as needed by the peasants", said the official.
