Ukrainian Agroton intends to place its shares at Warsaw stock exchange
Agricultural company Agroton took a decision to place its stock at the Warsaw Stock Exchange in May 2010, Agroton Financial Director Andriy Anpilov has said.
"In November 2009, we have already placed 25% of our stock on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Despite the world financial crisis, we intend to further place our shares at the European stock exchanges," he said.
According to him, the company had to enter the international exchanges under conditions of the "financial famine." "Commercial banks now extend credits under 30% annual. It is inadmissible for enterprises. Therefore, we place our shares. It is much less expensive," Anpilov said without specifying the approximate shareholding that the company plans to place at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The Agroton group of companies is engaged in growing grain crops, wheat, rape and sunflower seeds.
