Ukraine ups sunflower oil export in October
50,200 tons of sunflower oil was exported from Ukraine over 12 days of October 2010 via seaports, 45% up against 12 days of September - 27,900 tons.
In addition, 33,700 tons of rape was shipped. Main markets for sunflower seed oil are India, Italy, Egypt, rape was shipped to Turkey and the EU countries.
Export shipment of another 82,400 tons of sunflower seed oil is expected in the nearest future, as well as 38,700 tons of sunflower oilseed meal and 93,000 tons of rape.
