Ukraine to strengthen own status of one of the world leaders of agricultural products exports
Ukraine has storing potential to restore and strengthen the status of one of the world leaders of agricultural products output and exports, declared Victor Yushchenko, the President of Ukraine.
Even in the terms of difficult crisis conditions, Ukrainian agricultural sector shows excellent rates of work, according to the President. According to the head of the state, Ukraine is moving forward the following optimization of the agrarian market, the market will become more organized, open and competitive.
Investors continue growing own interest in the agro industrial complex of Ukraine, explained the President. In 2008, the agricultural industry received the largest part of investments, especially foreign investments. Such facts witness about liberalization of the market segment.
At the same time, V.Yushchenko mentioned that Ukraine still kept the fifth place in the world among grain exporters and the first place among exporters of sunflower seed and sunflower oil.
