Ukraine to enhance agriculture cooperation with Saudi Arabia
Bilateral contacts of Ukraine and Saudi Arabia promote the development of business and investment, Ukraine’s agrarian policy and food minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk said during his speech at a welcome reception, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia.
«I want to express my sincere gratitude to our Saudi counterparts on behalf of the Ukrainian side for the fruitful cooperation and understanding for 20 years. We consider the development of relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the priorities of our foreign policy. And my task, as a co-chairman of the Ukrainian part of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Saudi Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation, is to make every effort to get maximum results from our cooperation,» Ukrainian government official stressed. He said that the strategic issues of further partnership trade and economic relations remain investing in the creation of joint ventures for the production of agricultural products with the Saudi side. «Mutually beneficial cooperation between two countries has a great future, and today’s meeting will contribute to its further development,» Prysiazhniuk concluded.
