Ukraine sowed winter grains throughout 25% of the planned areas
As of September 19, Ukraine sowed winter grains throughout the areas of nearly 2.03 mln ha, or 25% of the forecast. On the same date last year agrarians sowed winter crops throughout 2.37 mln ha.
In particular, in the current year agrarians sowed wheat throughout 1.82 mln ha (27% of the forecast), rye - 169 thsd ha (49% of the forecast), barley - 39 thsd ha (3% of the forecast).
Ukraine sowed winter rapeseed throughout 852 thsd ha, or 90% of the forecast.
