Ukraine sold over 11 mln tonnes of grains on exchange market
According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, as of October 30, 2009, trade volumes of grains of the harvest-2009 on the exchange market of Ukraine totaled 11.46 mln tonnes, including 4.48 mln tonnes on spot contract terms, and 6.97 mln tonnes on forward terms.
Traders sold 28.9 thsd tonnes of grains from the general grain volumes on the terms of inner contracts, and 11.43 mln tonnes – on the terms of export contracts.
On the exchange market, the trade volumes of milling grains totaled 4.05 mln tonnes, including 4.02 mln tonnes of wheat, leguminous plants – 176.72 thsd tonnes. Feed grain sold volumes totaled 7.23 mln tonnes, including 1.93 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.72 mln tonnes of maize.
As of October 30, 2009, trade volumes of oilseeds of the harvest-2009 on the exchange market of Ukraine totaled 1.67 mln tonnes, including 736.21 thsd tonnes on spot contract terms, and 942.59 thsd tonnes on forward terms.
Traders sold 4.92 thsd tonnes of oilseeds from the general oilseed volumes on the terms of inner contracts, and 1.67 mln tonnes – on the terms of export contracts.
On the exchange market, the trade volumes of sunflower seed totaled 36.36 thsd tonnes, 1.51 mln tonnes of rapeseed, 70.92 thsd tonnes of soybean.
