Ukraine not yet introducing grain export quotas
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is not going to introduce quotas on grain exports so far, Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Prysiazhniuk told reporters on Wednesday before the Cabinet's meeting.
That is why this issue is not on the agenda of today's Cabinet meeting. Later, the minister said, the possibility of introducing export quotas will depend on the volume of exports.
It was earlier reported that the Cabinet was considering the introduction of quotas in the amount of 2.5 million tons for export of wheat and barley by the end of 2010.
