Ukraine not to cancel the duties on grain exports – N.Azarov
Nikolai Azarov, Prime Minister of Ukraine, refused to put on the agenda of the Cabinet of Ministers the proposal of Nikolai Prysiazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy, concerning cancellation of the customs duties on grain exports from Ukraine, informed the source in the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government will not cancel its decision.
The Prime Minister declared that cancellation of the customs duties will reduce revenue of the state budget by 3 bln UAH, which is unacceptable during the raising of minimum wages.
Besides, N.Azarov referred to the results of market studies that margin of grain traders is high enough for conducting of rather effective business even in the presence of the duties.
