Ukraine. Milk, meat producers will be examined by European inspectors
European inspectors will examine Ukrainian enterprises producing meat, milk, fish and honey for availability of veterinary preparations in the relevant products, the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine informs.
On October 12-22, inspectors of Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) and EU Directorate General for Health and Consumer Affairs (DG SANGO) will make a verification visit to Ukraine, as it is said in their statement, with the aim to assess the state of control of remains of veterinary preparations and pollutants in live animals and animal products, including control over veterinary preparations.
During an audit, it is planned to visit honey center Bartnyk (in the western part of Khmelnytsky region), fish breeding farm Irkliyiv (in the center of Cherkasy region), Pyriatyn Cheese Making Factory and the milk farm in Pyriatyn district, Poltava region (Ukraine's center), as well as Agromars poultry breeding farm (Kyiv region).
