Ukraine introduces special tariffs for cargo transit from Slovakia to Romania
The State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) has introduced special transit conditions for cargo transit at the section of the Slovakian border Chop-Diakove-Halmeu (Romania).
This became known at a meeting held between representatives of Ukrainian and Slovakian transport companies, the administration's press service reported.
At their meeting, rail officers decided to draft the system of through tariff rates in Slovakia and Ukraine.
The issue will be thoroughly discussed at an international conference on transit issues in the Ukrainian town of Chop on January 28, 2010.
