Ukraine increased production of milk and meat in January-November 2012
Grain Ukraine. Meat production (live weight) in Ukraine in January-November 2012 increased by 2.7% a year to 2.733 MMT.
Egg production in January-November 2012 increased by 2% to 17.678 billion units.
For the first time in six years, milk production in Ukraine grows in 2012. So in January-November 2012 milk production increased by 2,7% - to 10.686 MMT.
For the first time in 11 years in Ukraine recorded an increase herd of cattle in 2012.
It should be noted that as of December 1, 2012 herd of cattle, pigs and poultry increased compared to December 1, 2011 – by 1.3% to 4.808 million, by 2.7% to 7.955 million and by 8.7% to 228.306 million heads respectively.
