Ukraine increased output of agricultural products by 5.3%
During January-March of 2010, the general output of agricultural products in Ukraine increased by 5.3% compared to the same period of 2009, at the same time, agricultural enterprises increased the output by 12.6%, economies of Ukrainian population decreased by 0.7%, declared the State Statistics Committee on April 15.
Agrarian enterprises lowered the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 15% compared to the same period of 2009, including plant growing products – by 36%.
In January-March of 2010, the average sale prices of Ukrainian agrarian products of agricultural enterprises increased by 29% compared to the same period of 2009, including plant growing products – up 50%.
In March, 2010, the average sale prices of agricultural products grew by 3% compared to February 2010, including plant growing products – by 4%.
