Ukraine increased agricultural products output by 0.4%
During eight months of 2009, the general output of agricultural products in all varieties of agrarian economies of Ukraine increased by 0.4%, including agricultural enterprises decreased the output by 3.6%, economies of Ukrainian population – up 3.8%, declared the State Statistics Committee on September 15.
During January-August of 2009, the general volumes of plant growing products output lowered by 1.6% compared to the same period of 2008, agrarian enterprises decreased the index by 11.4%, economies of the population – increased by 8.5%.
Agrarian enterprises increased the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 34% compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products – by 69%.
The average sale prices of Ukrainian agrarian products of agricultural enterprises decreased by 15% compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products - down 26%.
In August 2009, the average sale prices of agricultural products lowered by 1% compared to July, including plant growing products – down 2%.
