Ukraine harvests 44.2mn tons of grain crops
As of November 1, Ukraine has gathered 44.2 million tons of grain crops, 11.9% down against the like period of 2008, the State Statistics Committee says.
Experts and the Agrarian Policy Ministry forecast 47-48 million tons of grain crops will be harvested in 2009 after 53.3 million tons in 2008.
