Ukraine gathers over 48mln tons of grain crops
According to live data, 48.145 million tons of grain was threshed in Ukraine, the Agrarian Policy Ministry informed.
Late grain crops and leguminous cultures were harvested from the area of almost 15.4 million ha, or 99% of the planned areas. The average crop capacity in Ukraine makes up 31.3 centners/ha.
Agrarians gathered also over 10.3 million tons of corn from the area of over 2 million ha, 96% of the plan under the average crop capacity of 50.9 centners/ha.
In addition, 10.3 million tons of sugar beet was gathered from 324,000 ha.
