Ukraine entered top five countries with largest production of honey in world
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Agricultural policy, NRCU says.
Only last year beekeepers collected more than 70,000 tons of this product, 13 of them - exported abroad. Main importers - Germany, Russia, the United States, Austria and Poland. It is to be reminded, on August 19 in Ukraine is a professional beekeepers holiday - The Beekeeper Day.
In addition, on this day the Ukrainian Orthodox Christians celebrate the Feast of Jesus Christ Transfiguration.
