Ukraine. Economy Ministry to accept bids for getting grain export licenses till November 3
The Economy Ministry informs about the beginning of accepting the bids to get licenses for export of separate types of agricultural products.
"In fulfillment of Item 2 of the procedure for the issue of licenses on export of separate types of agricultural products and distribution of quotas, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 4, 2010, "On Establishment of Quota Volumes for Separate Types of Agricultural Products whose Export is Subject to Licensing till December 31, 2010, and Approval of the Procedure for the Issue of Licenses for Export of Separate Types of Agricultural Products and Distribution of Quotas," the Economy Ministry informs about the beginning of accepting the bids for getting licenses for export of separate types of agricultural products since October 20 and till November 3, 2010 (inclusive)," the statement of the Ministry reads.
An application form, a list of documents that are necessary for getting licenses, a procedure for consideration and the issue of licenses will be held in compliance with the provisions on the procedure for licensing export of goods, approved by the order of the Economy Ministry of September 9, 2009, "On the Procedure for Licensing Export of Goods." On October 19, a resolution on introduction of grain export quotas came into force in Ukraine. The quotas were allocated in the following volumes: 2 million tons of corn, 0.5 million tons of wheat, 200,000 tons of barley and by 1,000 tons of rye and buckwheat that can be exported till December 31, 2010.
