Ukraine. Companies' IPO volume may reach USD 1bn in 2010 - Expert
The volume of initial public offerings (IPO) of Ukrainian issuers on the Western stock exchanges in 2010 could reach about USD 1 billion, according to Concorde Capital CEO Ihor Mazepa.
According to him, 10 companies dealing with agriculture, natural resources and commodities could set to IPO this year.
The average amount of placement will be about USD 100 million, the expert says.
The main platforms for IPO of Ukrainian companies in 2010, according to Mazepa's forecast, will be London and Warsaw stock exchanges.
