Ukraine: Cabinet of Ministers to analyze the possible negative aftermath of imposition of grain export duties

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to offer to the Verkhovna Rada to impose export duties for grains instead of the current regime of export quotas, declared the source in the Government.
In particular, during the government session on March 21, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the corresponding draft law, worked out by the Ministry of Finance. The source marked that the draft law provides the following export duties for grains: wheat, spelt, wheat and rye mix– 9%, barley – 14%, maize – 12%. At the same time, on March 23 during the Cabinet of Ministers session, the authorities took the decision to analyze the possible negative aftermath of imposition of grain export duties.
