Ukraine Bans Pig and Pork Products Imports From Russian Region.
Ukraine has banned import of pigs and pork products from Russia's Volgograd Region due to registered cases of African hog cholera there, according to local media reports.
The State Committee for Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine has also banned import of pigs and pork products from Guatemala due to an outbreak of the hog cholera. In addition, the committee has banned import of chicken products from Myanmar, Nepal and China due to the outbreak of avian flu in these countries.
