As of June 25, 2010, the average weighted purchasing price for 3-grade wheat in Ukraine totaled 1185 UAH/t, a decrease of 4% compared to the price index of the same date of the previous year, and down 7 UAH/t compared to the previous week, informed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, referring to operative data of levels of average weighted purchasing prices for grains in Ukraine.

According to the announcement, as of the reporting date, the price of 4-grade wheat totaled 1076 UAH/t (down 3% compared to the last year price), 6-grade wheat – 1034 UAH/t (up 11%).

At the same time, the minimum and maximum prices of 3-grade wheat totaled 1020 UAH/t and 1415 UAH/t, 4-grade wheat – 940 UAH/t and 1175 UAH/t, 6-grade – 740 UAH/t and 1325 UAH/t, respectively.

Besides, as of June 25, 2010, the average weighted purchasing price for rye, group A, in Ukraine totaled 920 UAH/t, up 6% compared to the previous year index. The minimum price of the grain totaled 780 UAH/t, and the maximum price – 1056 UAH/t.

Maize price totaled 1230 UAH/t (up 23% compared to the level of 2009). At the same time, the minimum and maximum prices totaled 1150 UAH/t and 1350 UAH/t, respectively.

The average weighted purchasing price for 3-grade barley in Ukraine totaled 866 UAH/t, down 3% compared to the previous year index. The minimum and maximum prices totaled 700 UAH/t and 1050 UAH/t, respectively.

As of June 25, 2010, the average weighted purchasing price for sunflower in Ukraine totaled 2680 UAH/t, an increase of 19% compared to the price level of the same date of the previous year (2247 UAH/t), informed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

As of the reporting date, the minimum price for the oilseed totaled 2400 UAH/t, the maximum price – 2850 UAH/t.

Soybean price totaled 2590 UAH/t, down 19% compared to the previous year level (in 2009 – 3212 UAH/t). At the same time, the minimum and maximum prices of soybean totaled 2500 UAH/t and 2661 UAH/t, respectively.

As of the reporting date, the average weighted purchasing price for rapeseed in Ukraine totaled 2766 UAH/t, up 3% compared to the previous year prices. The minimum price totaled 2470 UAH/t, the maximum price – 2950 UAH/t.
