Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund have reached a principle agreement on the implementation of a new two-year cooperation program, reported Ukraine’s Finance Minister Fedir YAROSHENKO.
“That loan (stand-by, signed in 2008) expires in the current year, while we need a two-year loan. We’ll get a new program. The negotiation process is underway now, but we have a principle agreement that there will be a new program,” said the Minister.
At the same time he did not specify the new loan’s amount and terms but noted that the current program’s implementation would be ceased.
