Ukraine: agricultural products output increased by 1.7%
During the first quarter of 2009, the general production of agricultural goods in all types of economies increased by 1.7%, including agricultural economies - up by 7%, economies of the population - down by 2.3%, declared the State Committee of Statistics on April 15.
During January-March of 2009, the general volumes of sold products of own output by agricultural enterprises increased by 55%, including plant growing products - by 2.9 times.
During the first quarter of 2009, the average sale prices of the products decreased by 25% compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products - by 41%.
In March 2009, the average sale prices of the products increased by 10% compared to February 2009, including plant growing products - by 14%.
