Ukraine: agricultural holding Kernel completed purchasing of Russian Oil
The agricultural holding Kernel completed purchasing of Russian Oil, informed the announcement of the company posted on the web-site of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
On September 19, 2011, Kernel fulfilled the conditions to purchase 100% of stocks of Russian Oil. Thus, to date Russian Oil is the subsidiary of Kernel Holding SA, according to the announcement.
As a reminder, previously Kernel agreed to purchase 100% of stocks of Russian Oil for the sum of 60 mln USD.
Kernel Group (TM "Shchedryi dar", "Stozhar", "Chumak domashnya", "Chumak zolota", "Lyubonka") is one of the largest producers of sunflower oil in Ukraine. Andrew Verevskiy, Chairman of the board of directors of the company, owns 41.16% of stocks of Kernel.
