Two agricultural companies related to TAS group raise UAH 100 mln from placing debut bonds
Novy Svit private enterprise (Kirovohrad region) and Ruteniya-M (Mykolaiv region), associated with TAS group, together have attracted UAH 100 million by placing debut bonds with the corresponding nominal value.
At the same time, Tagron LLC (Kyiv), also part of the group, failed to sell any bond.
As reported, the shareholders of Novy Svit and Ruteniya-M at the end of September 2014 made the decision to place bonds.
The companies planned to use 80% of borrowed funds for the purchase of raw materials and 20% - to update equipment and machinery.
Securities were issued in a book-entry form with a nominal value of UAH 1,000 in the amount of 50,000 in each series.
They were placed on the PFTS stock exchange. The underwriter was TAScombank (all based in Kyiv).
The interest rate for both series for the first-second coupon periods is set at 20% per annum. Interest income is accrued and paid quarterly.
The bonds will mature on November 13, 2019. However, the terms of the bond issue foresee a semiannual offer.
The bonds of Tagron with a total nominal value of UAH 95 million were issued in July 2013.
