The Government of Ukraine intended to create a state company which would provide guarantees on export contracts
The Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergey Tigipko announced that the Government of Ukraine intended to create a state company which would provide guarantees on export contracts for big Ukrainian commodity producers.
“We have made a draft bill and it will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada in September. A special agency will be created to support exports”, - said S. Tigipko.
Rumors about creation of state export-oriented company have been in the air for a long time. UkrAgroConsult has observed that appearance of state companies has been common practice in recent years, especially during seasons with export restrictions.
In different periods of time there were such companies as “Khleb Ukrainy”, “State commodity-grain corporation Ukraine” and “KhlebInvestBud”.
