State Financial Inspection: Targeted funds to be sent to agriculture modernization
One of the irregularities in application of funds under the government program of technology policy in agriculture is their misuse, chairman of the State Financial Inspection of Ukraine Petro Andreyev told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to official, in particular, the funds are used not for modernization and technical re-equipment, but for working capital and export financing.
It is clear that agro-enterprises have a variety of operational tasks. However, resources should not be sent on everything, otherwise qualitative changes will not happen, he said. According to the expert, there are flaws in distribution of assets, including timing and amounts allocated on various fronts. Thus, it is still not enough financing for renewal of agricultural machinery. However, this is connected with the general significant deterioration of machinery, which can not be replaced within 1–2 years, the expert said. He added that solution to such problems is possible due to interaction of Agrarian Policy Ministry, professional associations and agro-enterprises.
