Sowing of winter rape actually completed in Ukraine
3.76 million ha of winter crops is sown in Ukraine (except for rape), 48% of the forecast. Out of them, 3.73 million ha of grain, the Agricultural Policy Ministry press service informs.
In particular, 3.42 million ha of winter wheat was sown or 54% оf the forecast, 129,000 ha of barley (13% of the forecast), 171,000 ha of rye (37% оf the forecast). Winter rape is sown on the area of 1,245 million ha or 99% of the planned areas.
