Since the beginning of 2012/2013 MY Ukraine exported 13 mln tonnes of grains - Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of the current marketing year (July 2012), and as of December 14, the general grain exports from Ukraine totaled 13 mln tonnes.
According to data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, in particular during the period the country exported 5.65 mln tonnes of wheat (including 4.8 mln tonnes of milling wheat), 5.46 mln tonnes of maize and 1.76 mln tonnes barley.
On the reporting date the port elevators stocked almost 1.1 mln tonnes of grains (including 135 thsd tonnes of wheat), grain stocks on board of vessels - 201 thsd tonnes (wheat - 55 thsd tonnes from prepared for loading of 99 thsd tonnes).
Thus, according to estimates of the Ministry, the volume of already exported and prepared for exports grains totals 14.3 mln tonnes, including 5.8 mln tonnes of wheat.
Previously it was reported about stoppage of wheat exports from Ukraine due to achievement of the maximum possible volumes of grain shipment for the current marketing year at the level of 5.5 mln tonnes, which was agreed between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and grain traders.
The Ministry expects that in the current marketing year the country will supply 21-22 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets.
