Russia: Ministry of Agriculture realizes the complex of measures for shipment of feed grains from the intervention fund
In accordance with the decree of the Government, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation realizes the complex of measures for shipment of feed grains from the intervention fund without providing of auction trades. 224 elevators of the intervention fund will realize the unloading operations, declared Elena Skrynnik, Minister of Agriculture, on March 31.
According to her, to date the present fixed price for feed wheat totals 4550 RUR/t, at the same time the market price totals 6.5 thsd RUR/t. The fixed price for barley totals 4200 RUR/t, but the market price totals 8.5 thsd RUR/t. That is why, agricultural commodity producers will receive rather essential support, explained the Minister.
She also informed that the Ministry almost completed signing of agreements with the regions, damaged from the summer droughts, for supplies of grains from the intervention fund.
Besides, in accordance with the rules approved by the Government, the Ministry formed and distributed volumes of intervention grains throughout regions, guided by applications of the regions and criteria.
