Russia may shift logistics center to the Black Sea region

At the request of Turkey, Russia will consider the possibility of removing the logistics center from Rostov Territory close to the Black Sea region, PRIME-TASS reports quoting Vice-Premier Igor Sechin.

Mr. Sechin’s announcement was made during his working visit to Istanbul.

"We have agreed that in the coming weeks, our experts will exchange their views on the issue, and we’ll find a solution that would comfort both parties", Mr. Sechin was quoted as saying. The Logistics Center in the Black Sea region would be used for loading and off-loading of the Turkish vessels.

Igor Sechin also has informed that Russia and Turkey "will be working to boost cargo turnover”. According to him, the prime ministers of Russia and Turkey will instruct their governments to take measures that could significantly increase trade between Russia and Turkey. "We suppose to have this volume increased in the next 5 years to $100 billion. We will be doing our best in this direction", added Igor Sechin.
