Russia: intervention fund sold about 400 thsd tonnes of feed grains
On April 28, Elena Skrynnik, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, stated that due to sales of grain volumes from the intervention fund at the exchange, the prices decreased by 10-15%.
To date, the fund continues selling feed grain volumes without the exchange trades, the corresponding agreements were concluded with almost all regions of the country.
E.Skrynnik informed that according to contracts of sales and purchase the intervention fund already sold nearly 400 thsd tonnes of feed grains, the received sum totaled over 1 bln RUR.
According to the Minister, to date the intervention fund signed contracts for over 1 mln tonnes of feed grains to be shipped after the receipt of payment.
