Russia: in 2007 wheat export totaled 14.5 mln tonnes
According to the data of the Federal Statistics Service of Russia, in 2007 Russia exported 14.513 mln tonnes of wheat and meslin, up 49.2% as compared to 2006.
In total, the Russian grain export totaled 16.673 mln tonnes (up 49.5% as compared to 2006), including 1.908 mln tonnes of barley (up 48.2%). At that, Russia exported 77.700 tonnes of rapeseeds (up 7.3%) and 108.000 tonnes of sunflower seeds (down 54.3%).
In addition, in 2007 Russia exported 46.174.000 tonnes of food commodities and agricultural raw materials, up 24% as compared to 2006.
