All Federal Districts of the Russian Federation continue harvesting of grains and leguminous crops. Agricultural enterprises of the Urals Federal District (Tyumen oblast) already started the harvesting campaign, declared press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on August 8.

According to operative data as of August 8, 2011, agrarians of the Russian Federation harvested grains and leguminous crops throughout the areas of over 13.3 mln ha (30% of the sowing areas), and produced over 39.8 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 30 c/ha (in 2010 - 21.6 c/ha).

The Southern Federal District harvested grains throughout the areas of nearly 5.6 mln ha (79% of the sowing areas), and produced nearly 18.5 mln tonnes. The average yield totaled 33.1 c/ha (in 2010 - 30.9 c/ha).

The North Caucasian Federal District harvested grains throughout nearly 2.3 mln ha (82% of the sowing areas), and produced nearly 8.5 mln tonnes with the average yield of 37.4 c/ha (in 2010 - 32.5 c/ha).

The Central Federal District harvested grains throughout nearly 3.2 mln ha (43%), and produced nearly 8.3 mln tonnes with the yield of 26 c/ha (in 2010 - 17.9 c/ha).

Agrarians of the Volga Federal District harvested grains throughout the areas of over 2.1 mln ha (17% of the areas), produced over 4.3 mln tonnes. The yield totaled 20 c/ha (in 2010 - 9.7 c/ha).

The Far Eastern Federal District harvested grains and leguminous crop throughout 40.8 thsd ha (12% of the areas), and produced 87.1 thsd tonnes. The yield totaled 21.4 c/ha (in 2010 - 10.2 c/ha).

Agrarians of Russia harvested wheat throughout the areas of over 9.2 mln ha (36% of the forecast). The production volumes exceeded the level of 30.3 mln tonnes with the yield of 32.7 c/ha (in 2010 - 24.2 c/ha).

Agrarians harvested barley throughout over 2 mln ha (26% of the forecast), and produced over 5.4 mln tonnes of the grain. The average yields totaled 26.4 c/ha (in 2010 - 18.5 c/ha).

Russia harvested winter and spring rapeseed throughout 157.2 thsd ha, produced 280.7 thsd tonnes of the oilseed with the yield of 17.9 c/ha.
