Regions purchased 1.1 MMT of grain from the Y2009 crop
As of September 11, the regions had stockpiled 1,081.3 KMT of food grain from the Y2009 crop, i.e. 70.6% of their plan, said a representative of the Agrarian Policy Ministry.
At the same time, producers have already received payment (UAH 334.6 Ml) for 311.4 KMT of supplied grain.
So, sellers have presently received payment just for 29% of grain supplied to the regional stocks.
The regions purchased 1,330 KMT of grain as of this same date last year.
As reported before, the regions had purchased 107.7 KMT of the Y2009 crop grain as of July 24.
The recommended volume of the regional grain stock is 1,531 MMT.
