Leading companies have organized trainings on agronomy for universities’ lecturers
The Association “Ukrainian Agribusiness Club” in cooperation with “Agroosvita” education center, Pohorilogo Research Institute and Agro Education Council of the Ministry of Education & Sciences of Ukraine, held practice seminar during 12-13 of May for agronomy lecturers of universities on the theme of “Technology and innovations in horticulture”.
The event has gathered more than 30 lecturers from different high schools of Ukraine. Leading market representatives as BASF, APK-Group, KWS and NESTLE Ukraine with cooperation with other companies’ participators have presented and communicated with agronomy lecturers themes of innovations in selection, crop protection, fertilizers and European actual experience and practices of “Technology of precision agriculture” discipline introduction in educational process and program of stability monitoring in development of farming. Also, the Pohorilyi Research Institute team leading by its director Volodymyr Kravchuk has presented new innovational tech. solutions for grains and bioenergy plants’ cultivation.
Practical visits of experimental fields (Research Institute) where organized on the 13th of May, including fields’ sightseeing of miscanthus and willows (for biofuels). The next stage was a visit of BASF Agro Center. BASF representatives, Oleksandr Lukjanec and Yevgeniy Kachur, have presented sowed area and crops’ conditions.
