Production of harvesters in Russia down in January-September 2009
According to ASM Holding, output of grain harvesters in Russia in the first 9 months of 2009 decreased by 14.9% on the year to 5,736 units (compared with 6,737 units in 3Q 2008).
Within the above figure, the number of foreign-branded grain harvesters assembled in Russia in January-September 2009 was 1,842 units. With only 651 units assembled in the first 9 months of 2008, the assembly rate has grown 2.8 times.
